Those who work as assistant site managers or supervisors (NVQ Level 3 Occupational Work Supervision) in the fields of construction, civil engineering, roads, residential development, conservation, or demolition may add this nationally recognised certification to their resume.
A National Vocational Qualification NVQ Level 3 Occupational Work Supervision is one that has been specifically designed to be attained via practical experience in the workplace. This qualification cannot be pursued unless you have a job.
To become a Construction Site Supervisor in the construction sector, you need to show that you can put your knowledge, abilities, and understanding to the test in a real-world setting, and this certification will help you do just that.
A Supervisor (Gold) CSCS card may be applied for after you have completed this certification.
Who is the target audience for this qualification?
For seasoned construction supervisors, this is a competency-based credential. Earning an NVQ is a great way to prove to your employer that you’re up to the task and have the necessary expertise. Successful completion of this certification demonstrates that the applicant is competent in a variety of areas related to managing a construction site. Project management, resource management, health and safety, and risk assessment are all part of this category.
The qualification is granted by the ProQual Awarding Body, which is also responsible for its regulation by the Ofqual, the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation.

Criteria for admission
For this credential, there are no set prerequisites. To register in this NVQ, however, applicants must already have relevant job experience.
To better prepare for the test and find any gaps in candidates’ knowledge and abilities, we are doing an initial assessment here at Brin Solutions.
Evaluation
Evaluating a candidate’s knowledge, abilities, and comprehension in relation to the requirements outlined in the qualification is known as assessment.
As this is a competency-based certification, it is essential that applicants show they can do the tasks outlined in the modules.
The competency will be evaluated internally by a competent and suitably experienced Assessor in accordance with the Construction Skills Consolidated Assessment Strategy.
