To attain a national vocational qualification, individuals must specifically design it to be achieved through practical experience in the workplace. You can only pursue this qualification if you have a job.
If you want to work as a construction site manager in the construction business, this certification will help you show what you know and how competent you are in a real-world setting.
One may apply for a Manager (Black) CSCS card when they have completed this certification.

In order to get this credential, you have to finish at least 19 units, with the following 8 being necessary across all routes:
- Establishing and upholding positive workplace relationships
- Task Distribution and Employee Evaluation in the Workplace
- Building, Launching, and Managing Workplace Health, Safety, and Welfare Programmes
- Assessing and choosing workout procedures to satisfy workplace projects or operational needs
- Monitor the execution of tasks on construction projects in the workplace.
- Monitoring Workplace Project Activities in Relation to Predetermined Quality Objectives and Schedules
- Entry criteria for a construction-related workplace that manages personal development
- Site managers in the following industries are required to fulfil the evaluation criteria: residential development, conservation, demolition, building and civil engineering, road maintenance and repair, and residential construction.

A competent and suitably experienced assessor will internally evaluate the competency in accordance with the Construction Skills Consolidated Assessment Strategy.
