Cladding Occupations Diploma Level 2 NVQ
An overview
This qualification is an NVQ, which signifies that it has been designed to be completed in an actual work environment. Employment is a prerequisite for completing this qualification.
This qualification will allow you to showcase and be recognised for your skills, knowledge, and comprehension, as well as to exhibit your competence in a practical work setting. As a result, you will be eligible to work as a skilled worker in the construction industry.
Obtaining Cladding Occupations Diploma Level 2 NVQ will qualify you to register for a Skilled Worker (Blue) CSCS card.
For whom is the qualification intended?
Professionals in the construction industry can obtain this competency-based qualification. The NVQ serves as evidence of one’s expertise and competence in their present occupation or field. Successful completion of this qualification serves as evidence of a candidate’s proficiency in the entire trade.
The regulatory agency for this qualification is the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual), while the awarding body is the ProQual Awarding Agency.
The structure of qualifications is important.
In addition to the mandatory and elective units, candidates are required to finish all mandatory units within one of the pathways.
Required units:
- Adherence to workplace health, safety, and welfare regulations
- Adhering to efficient work procedures within the professional setting
- Storage, transportation, and manipulation of resources in the workplace
- Resources should be prepared for the installation of sheeting and cladding materials in the workplace.
- Placing sheeting and cladding systems on workplace walls and roofs
- Install workplace sheeting and cladding for rainwater goods on walls and rooftops, including one additional installation.

Formal entry requirements do not apply to this qualification. In order to qualify for this NVQ, candidates need to be employed in the industry.
We are conducting an interim assessment of candidate skills and knowledge at Brin Solutions in order to identify any knowledge deficits and assist with assessment planning.
The evaluation procedure compares a candidate’s aptitude, comprehension, and expertise to the criteria established in the qualification.
As this is a competency-based qualification, applicants are required to exhibit the level of proficiency specified in the units.
A qualified and experienced assessor will internally conduct the evaluation of the qualification in adherence to the Construction Skills Consolidated Assessment Strategy.
