The structure of qualifications
In order to get the qualification, applicants are required to successfully finish the three mandatory units and obtain an endorsement for one additional unit. The qualification specification document contains information on unit endorsement.
Candidates have the option to complete the Additional Unit; however, it will not contribute towards the attainment of the qualification.

Professional specialising in the installation and arrangement of bedrooms.

Prerequisites
This certification does not have any specific prerequisites. However, applicants must be employed in the sector to be eligible for enrollment in this NVQ.

Assessment refers to the systematic evaluation of a candidate’s proficiency, knowledge, and comprehension in relation to the predetermined criteria established by the qualification.

Applicants must demonstrate the level of competence stated in the modules to obtain this competency-based certification.

The qualification will be evaluated according to the Construction Skills Consolidated Assessment Strategy and will be internally examined by a suitably experienced and certified assessor.

Our e-portfolio system executes the evaluation procedure, which consists of two components:

Competence: the applicants must complete a workbook.
Practical evidence may be gathered through on-site inspections.
