Overview
To pursue the Formwork NVQ Level 2 Diploma, you need to be actively employed and complete it in a real workplace setting. To become employed as a skilled construction worker, you must demonstrate your abilities in a real-world work setting to prove your skills. This certification will help you do just that.

If you fulfill this requirement, you can apply for a Skilled Worker (Blue) CSCS card.

For whom is this qualification intended?
Those working in the construction business can demonstrate their competence and expertise in their present position or trade by taking the NVQ. You may demonstrate your competence and expertise in your present position or trade by taking the NVQ. Upon obtaining this certification, a candidate may demonstrate their proficiency in many trades.

The ProQual Awarding Body is the awarding body, and the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) is the regulating body for this qualification.

The structure of qualifications
Candidates may finish any of the additional units, but they will not contribute towards qualifying. Candidates must complete all of the mandatory units.

Required units:

  • Respecting workplace standards for general health, safety, and welfare
  • Following efficient work procedures at the office
  • The workplace moves, handles, and stores resources.
  • Building and striking with custom formwork and wood in the workplace
  • Creating and maintaining custom formwork systems and working with wood in the workplace.

Prerequisites for entry:
This qualification has no official admission criteria. Applicants must be employed in the industry to register for this NVQ.

In order to find any gaps in knowledge and assist with planning the exam, we at Brin Solutions are now performing an initial evaluation of applicant abilities and knowledge.

Evaluation is the process of comparing a candidate’s abilities, comprehension, and knowledge to the requirements specified in the qualification.

Candidates must exhibit the level of competence outlined in the modules in order to be eligible for this competency-based certification.

A competent and experienced assessor will internally evaluate the qualification in accordance with the Construction Skills Consolidated Assessment Strategy.

Our e-portfolio system divides the evaluation procedure into two sections:

Knowledge: Candidates must finish a workbook to demonstrate their knowledge.
Site inspections provide useful data to be gathered.
